Through the Viridi Wellness Program, you allocate renewable energy credits to your employees to help reduce their carbon footprint and offset their energy use at home. It is a complement to your company’s overall wellness program.

How does it work?

Viridi purchases Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) on your behalf and allocates them to your employees so they can “go green”. A REC represents energy produced by a renewable resource like wind, solar, or hydro. When 1,000 kilowatt hours (kWh) of power is generated by a renewable resource, 1 REC is created, and that REC represents and tracks the renewable energy once it enters the grid.
